Mission Statement

Armite Lubricants manufactures the highest quality industrial lubricants, anti-seizes, and other specialty compounds while delivering innovative solutions that best suit Armite’s customers’ needs and requirements by focusing on their businesses.

Armite’s Goal

Armite Lubricants’ goal is to be a leading global product manufacturer and new product design for its niche products, including, general-purpose, commercial, industrial, and military-grade lubricants, anti-seize compounds, and other specialty chemicals & compounds.

Armite’s Story

When manufacturing was a backbone industry of the United States of America, Howard Armington, a chemist by trade, founded Armite Lubricants in 1928. Mr. Armington seized the opportunity to formulate products that enhanced the productivity of that time. Today, Armite continues to manufacture top-quality industrial lubricants and anti-seize compounds and is a Woman-Owned Small Business.

Reaching great success in its early years, Armite established an impressive product line with a continuous focus on high-quality ingredients that meet and exceed the many applications of commercial-grade, industrial grade, and military-grade lubricants, anti-seize compounds, corrosion inhibitors, sealants, rust penetrants as well as other specialty compounds. The company was eventually passed down to Mr. Armington’s son and then his granddaughter, preserving the family legacy.

When Josh Walker took over the company in 1998, he not only maintained the family values that Armite was built on, he also took the company to new heights. Mr. Walker moved Armite’s headquarters from Los Angeles to Costa Mesa, California. After years of growth, Armite completed the expansion of its facility through the addition of an on-site test laboratory.

Twenty years later, after building Armite Lubricants and its network of loyal customers, Mr. Walker’s daughter, Kathy Sandstrum, acquired the company. Kathy now serves as Armite’s CEO and co-owner. In true Armite family fashion, Kathy’s husband of 27 years, Mike Sandstrum, now serves as the President and co-owner.

Today, Armite Lubricants provides the Military, Aerospace, Aviation, Transportation, Energy, Machinery, Manufacturing, and Distribution industries with a full line of top-quality industrial lubricants, anti-seizes and other specialty compounds, and almost always with real-time shipping. Here at Armite, we strive to raise the bar as one of the top globally recognized Woman-Owned, family-run, small business manufacturers and private/white labelers of lubricants, anti-seizes, sealants, penetrants, corrosion inhibitors, and other specialty compounds.

Many Armite Lubricants’ products are approved to commercial, military and federal specifications, but the company is perhaps best known to the general consumer for its  12|34® Formula. 12|34® is the oldest and finest general-purpose, commercial, industrial, and military-grade penetrating, rust preventative, corrosion inhibitor, and moisture removing lubricant on the market today. Professional tradesmen who want the very best in a specialty lubricant ask for Armite’s products by name. Be sure to try 12|34® Formula today!
